Churchyard news

St Margaret's churchyatrd is, and will always be (unless we are directed otherwise) open for people to walk in, sit in, visit graves of loved ones and reflect on all that God does for us.

However, sadly, due to some inappropriate actions by a few, it is necessary for us to ask people to walk to the churchyard and not come by car. the car park is now closed, and access through the driveway is for the Rectory only.

But walkers, with or without dogs, are welcome in the churchyard. Its a place to discover so many wild flowers and wild birds.

Life is very different at present, but our churchyard is constant, and has been for centuries. Do make the most of this time and enjoy it

If you are at a loose end on a Monday or a Thursday morning between 9am and 11am (and its not raining) you are very warmly invited to come to our churchyard and join Arthur and his team in maintaining it (Michael has). We might be grass cutting, digging up weeds, hedge trimming. No expereience is necessary - and it is recognised as 'physical exercise' which we are being encouraged to take each day at present.
